Meet Ed: Your Trusted Expert in Car Preservation

As a first-generation immigrant in the US, I’m living my American dream, one car at a time. Growing up in the “barrio,” I learned that having a cool car wasn’t just about transportation – it was a status symbol. My love affair with cars began at a young age, thanks to my uncles passion for cars, music, and fashion style.

I spent my weekends with my uncle, learning the art of detailing from scratch. No fancy tools or equipment, just good old elbow grease and a commitment to making his cars shine. I’d help him clean the interior, wipe down the dashboard, and buff the paint until it sparkled. Those were the days that sparked my passion for detailing, and I was hooked.

As a teenager, I had my own ride – a 1989 Dodge Spirit in brown. I’d spend hours detailing it, making sure it was spotless and shiny for every event, whether it was a cruise down the street or a night out with friends. I took pride in my car, and it showed.

Fast forward to 2008, when the financial crisis hit. I was forced to start my own mobile detailing business, washing cars at office parks to make ends meet. But I didn’t let that setback hold me back. I worked hard, honed my skills, and built a reputation for quality and attention to detail. Today, I’m proud to say that I’ve worked on some of the most rare cars and most valuable collections in the country.

Passing on the Passion

The best part of my journey is sharing my passion with my very own sons. I’ve brought them into the business, and it’s been an incredible experience watching them learn and grow. They got the same fire in their belly that I had all those years ago, and I couldn’t be prouder.

I’m a blessed man, indeed. I’ve lived my American dream, and I’m grateful for every twist and turn that’s brought me to where I am today. Thank you, for being part of my journey. Cheers 🙂
